SNAGIT SCREEN RECORDER SOFTWARE
Not sure there is a better capture software out there :) I personally use Obs Studio both for streaming & recording video of anything i have on my system. Hello :) Tsw88 i'd like to recommend Obs Studio, Open Broadcaster Software. dimension is fine.Īny screen capturing software where it provides a pre-defined size where I can more easily to capture a rectangular area? For example, every click it already gives me a rectangular size and let me choose where to capture and then just another click to finish? I don't need exact dimension of capture area, only approx. Especially when I often need to capture and save screen, of approx. As a matter of fact, I have one on my laptop, can't remember the name but it works, but I don't use my laptop very often so it's ok for that.Ĭurrently I am capturing with mouse and every time I need to capture a rectangular section I need to use mouse to start from a point and pull it down. I just prefer it over the free stuff and I have tried free capture programs. Go check it out, can't hurt and no I'm not employed by Techsmith who makes the program. You can have Snagit start automatically at startup so you don't have to go looking for an icon or app to start your program for capture. They just came out with a new version, which I haven't gotten yet and they've added more stuff to it. It comes with a separate editor and you can do all kinds of things with it but it is not a photo editor like PSP or Photoshop.

SNAGIT SCREEN RECORDER HOW TO
I've been using this software for years and sometimes the video capture can be quirky but all you have to do is send an email to their tech support and they'll tell you how to fix it, usually within an hour or so. FoneLab Screen Recorder allows you to capture video, audio, online tutorial, etc on Windows/Mac, and you can easily customize size, edit the video or audio, and more. NO, it's not free but the best thing is you can capture video's as well as screen capture and scrolling captures. While all the FREE screen capture tools are great, the best part is they're FREE, I myself use SNAGIT, made by Techsmith. The following training and documentation resources are available on the TechSmith website:ĬUNY-specific Snagit infor m ation is available on the CUNY IT Help site.
